I've worked at the intersection of tech, education, and social change for the past 14 years.
I am currently the founder and CEO of CodePath.org.
CodePath.org is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit transforming computer science education for underrepresented minorities at 49 colleges and universities, doubling in size every semester. Working closely with major technology companies like Facebook, CodePath.org is changing what is being taught and how it is being taught in CS programs nationwide to increase diversity in tech using a system-wide solution. Prior to CodePath.org, I founded 3 nonprofits and 3 tech startups starting at age 19. I was a founding board member for Women Who Code and co-founder of Segment which went through Y-Combinator (YC) in 2011 and at that time was called ClassMetric.
