About the conference

ProductCon is the largest product management conference series in the world. It is organized by Product School and takes place five times a year in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and London. The speaker lineup features product leaders from Google, Slack, Amazon, Airbnb, Netflix, Facebook and more.



Christine Itwaru

Director of Product Ops at
Christine Itwaru is the Director of Product Management at Pendo, with extensive experience in the professional services and financial services markets. Hailing from New York, she has both managed and grown product teams, utilizing her beliefs in shared experience and shared knowledge within teams and across an organization to help drive growth and produce products that make an impact. In her first Product Management role at Jefferies, she rallied a team around building and growing a product that was responsible for providing insight into customer behaviors, interests, and goals. Since then at Ipreo, she’s led teams responsible for maintaining, building, and growing solutions that connect players in the markets to each other, and allow for secure, easy access to data that help clients make decisions quickly, in an ever-changing, highly competitive space. Christine’s love for data driven Product Management and a deep connection to Customers led her to Pendo, a product experience platform that helps product teams create software customers love. In 2017 Pendo was named a Top 50 US Startup by LinkedIn.

Varun Bakhru

Lead Product Manager - Payments at Salesforce
Varun Bakhru is a product leader with over ten years of experience in leading products at global companies. He is a hands-on product person with love for data, enhancing the customer experience and working in cross-functional environments. Varun believes his technical experience is what helps him deliver highly scalable products with quality. He has a Bachelor in Engineering from University of Pune and a Masters in Software Engineering from San Jose State University, as well as a Product Management Certification from University of California, Berkeley. Varun started his career as an Intern at Vodafone; he worked at Persistent Systems, Cognizant and PayPal before securing his Senior Software Engineer position, and later taking on the Product Management Lead role at eBay. Today, Varun is a Senior Manager at Salesforce, a Speaker and a Mentor at Product School and an avid half marathons runner for fundraising.
