As Slack's head of platform marketing, Stallsmith has been a key member of the startup's original platform team since joining in 2015. Stallsmith leads a small team bringing customers, developers and partners like Salesforce and Google on to the platform. The Greenwich, Conn. native studied psychology and English at Stanford University, where she got inspired to work in tech after hearing Box CEO Aaron Levie speak in one of her classes. After cold-emailing Levie asking for an internship, Stallsmith went on to work at Box and as an associate at Bessemer Venture Partners before joining Slack.
