Thomas Lah

Thomas Lah is the executive director of the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today's technology and services organizations. He is the author of many popular books on trends affecting the tech industry, his latest being Technology-as-a-Service Playbook: How to Grow a Profitable Subscription Business. For over 20 years, he has been helping some of the world's largest technology companies improve the efficiency of their daily operations.
Thomas is a sought-after industry speaker on the topics of optimizing technology service businesses within product companies, business outcome engineering, customer success funding models, X-as-a-Service (XaaS) financial models, the art of helping customers successfully adopt technology, and the latest market trends impacting service organizations worldwide. Since 2002, Thomas has also taught an MBA class at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business titled “Building Professional Services,” which is based on his writings.

The list of books Thomas has authored include: Building Professional Services: The Sirens’ Song (2002), Mastering Professional Services (2005), Bridging the Services Chasm (2009), Consumption Economics: The New Rules of Tech (2011), B4B: How Technology and Big Data Are Reinventing the Customer-Supplier Relationship (2013), and Technology-as-a-Service Playbook: How to Grow a Profitable Subscription Business (2016).

J.B. Wood is president and CEO of the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today's technology and services organizations. Through TSIA, Wood works with the world’s largest technology companies on strategies to extend their innovation platform beyond the lab and into the customer experience, particularly in the age of cloud and managed services. He is a frequent industry speaker on the topics of business outcome engineering, X-as-a-Service (XaaS) business models, transformations in the traditional customer-supplier relationship, and TSIA’s LAER customer engagement model (Land, Adopt, Expand, and Renew). He is also CEO of Outcome Chains, Inc. a pioneering SaaS application that helps tech sales teams link their offers to the business outcomes of their customers.

Wood has authored several popular books, including Complexity Avalanche: Overcoming the Threat to Technology Adoption (2009), Consumption Economics: The New Rules of Tech (2011), B4B: How Technology and Big Data Are Reinventing the Customer-Supplier Relationship (2013), and Technology-as-a-Service Playbook: How to Grow a Profitable Subscription Business (2016). He has also appeared in such leading publications as Fortune, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Deepa is the Director of Customer Process Improvement for Schneider Electric North America. Her mantra is to enhance the customer experience by providing digital solutions, streamlining operations, and building great teams. Deepa truly believes that the only way to stay relevant and focused is to match that pace with a continuous improvement mindset. With a Masters in Industrial Engineering and previous background in operations, she drives success in the Support Services role by focusing on simplifying current processes and fostering employee empowerment at all levels to make impactful changes.
