About the conference
The Mobile Payments Conference is the premier annual conference and exhibition on the future of alternative payments worldwide. MPC is known for bringing together thought leaders, innovators and decision-makers from financial, technology, government, retail, marketing and mobile industries to discuss the evolution of the payments industry.The theme of 2019 year - “Global Commerce in Motion: Enabling Frictionless Mobile Payments” - wasfocused on the impact of the 5G revolution on mobile commerce and removing friction from the payments process for users and merchants.
Justin is a former investment banking analyst and UC Berkeley alum. As an undergrad, Justin worked in Bangladesh with Grameen Bank and Muhammad Yunus in microfinance, in addition to working across various financial firms within startup angel investing, technology M&A investment banking, and small-cap equity activist hedge funds. Prior to joining Airfox, Justin served as a manager of strategic initiatives at DoorDash, where he was responsible for building and scaling new business verticals. Prior to that, he served as the head of operations at Starship, a robotic delivery startup; the co-founder/CEO of Quickie Technologies, an on-demand delivery and mobility platform for college students; and lastly, served as a technology M&A analyst at Credit Suisse, one of the largest investment banks globally.
Elizabeth McQuerry is a Glenbrook Board Member and leads the firm’s Global Payments Practice. She has over 15 years of experience helping to develop payment new products for cross-border remittances and P2P, global payouts, government collections and disbursements. She also supports efforts to develop new payment schemes from concept to implementation, helping to develop business requirements and business plans, as well as draft governance frameworks and rulebooks.
Elizabeth is a frequent contributor to projects focusing on payments system interoperability at the national level as well as cross-border bilateral contracts and regional interoperability schemes. She often supports efforts to grow emerging payment ecosystems and to interconnect mobile and traditional payment schemes.
From mid-2015 through 2018, Elizabeth served as CEO of the International Payments Framework Association (IPFA). In this role, she led the IPFA in simplifying the exchange of cross-border payments. The IPFA Framework developed the first Rulebook for cross-border and cross-currency Instant Payments (real time). The IPFA also has a Non-Urgent (bulk) payment rulebook, utilizing the same set of harmonized ISO 20022 messages.
Elliott Goldenberg leads the Product Specialist team in the North America region at MasterCard. He has more than 18 years of experience in retail, digital and payments. Before joining the North American region he led the Digital Payments team for Mastercard in the UK and prior to that he led the Digital Offers sales team at Barclaycard, launching its Bespoke Offers platform. Elliott has a passion for embracing technology to create great customer experience in scalable, repeatable ways – integrating all aspects of Mastercard’s technology to ensure integrity, safety and security.
