D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit 2019 was an exclusive high-level conference, gathered the brightest and most creative minds dedicated to exploring approaches to the creative process and artistic expression as they uniquely apply to the development of interactive entertainment.

Layden Layden
Chairman at Worldwide Studios
Shawn Layden is Chairman of Worldwide Studios for PlayStation, where he oversees all first-party game strategy and development. Layden has extensive experience in the consumer electronics and digital entertainment industries, including more than 20 years at PlayStation where he has held a variety of senior positions.
Previously, Layden was President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America, leading the PlayStation business in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sony Network Entertainment International, responsible for global marketing, sales, and network retail operations for the PlayStation Network. Layden has also held executive leadership positions Japan and Europe. He spent eight years directing international software development at Sony’s London Studio and was the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

Yves Jacquier
Executive Director - Production Services Studios at Ubisoft Montreal
Since he started at Ubisoft in 2004, Yves Jacquier filled many different positions related with the fast growth of the Studio : heading Online Services, then IT. In 2008 he is put in charge to develop the Production Services Studios and make them the best of the industry. He led transformative activities such as Performance capture, biometrics or telemetry.
In addition to the development of the production services activities, Yves designs an academic R&D strategy with two significant milestones : creation of a chair in Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning) in 2011 and foundation in 2016 of the first Lab in the gaming industry dedicated to apply academic research : Ubisoft – La Forge
Since his debut as electronics engineer in the health sector, then in particle physics, Yves has developed a solid expertise in technical innovation. He was previously project manager in telecoms and research engineer at the CERN (Conseil Européen de la Recherche Nucléaire) on the ATLAS experiment.
Yves is also member of the board and scientific counsellor of CDRIN (Centre de Développement et de Recherche en Imagerie Numérique) and an enthusiastic scientific communicator for Ubisoft.

Ebba Ljungerud
CEO at Paradox Interactive
Ebba Ljungerud has an extensive history of bringing entertainment to broad audiences, with roles in the media, e-commerce, and interactive entertainment industries. Following a long career with Kindred Group PLC, Ebba now serves as CEO at Paradox Interactive since August 2018.
Ljungerud has guided multiple businesses through vital phases of growth and expansion during her career. At Paradox, she oversees a growing company of over 435 employees across six studios, with a portfolio of over 100 titles published on PC, console, and mobile platforms. Her favorite game is Surviving Mars.
