Edward McNair

Executive Director at NANOG
Edward McNair is the Executive Director of the North American Network Operators Group (NANOG). He is also the co-founder of Kaskadian, an agency that provides branding, marketing and sales support for startups and new businesses. Prior to Kaskadian, Edward served as Chief Executive Officer for Verilan, an IT company that delivered just-in-time, enterprise quality networks. Previously, he was Vice President of Internet Marketing for Respond2, a leading direct marketing agency, and was Creative Director for the WiMAX Forum, a global Internet and telecom consortium.

In the computer industry, Edward has developed corporate training solutions for Nike, Adidas, Columbia Sportswear, Kaiser Permanente, and FEI, among others. In addition, he has delivered professional services to NANOG, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), Facebook, Intel® and Mentor Graphics. Edward also developed the first web design program at the Pacific Northwest College of Art where he taught web and graphic design and interactive media courses for more than a dozen years.

In his free time, Edward is involved in community theatre aimed at supporting locale charities. His most recent production was playing the lead in the musical "Oklahoma!”

Jeff Tantsura

Head of Technology Strategy at Nuage Networks
Jeff Tantsura has been in the networking space for 20+ years and has authored/contributed to many RFC's and patents, worked in both SP and vendor environments. He is co-chair of IETF Routing Working Group, chartered to work on New Network Architectures and Technologies, including protocol independent YANG models and Next Gen Routing Protocols as well as co-chair of RIFT (Routing in Fat Trees) Working Group chartered to work on the new routing protocol that specifically addresses Fat Tree topologies typicall

Bikash Koley

Vice President and Head, Global Networking at Google
Bikash is currently the Vice President and Head of Google Global Networking (GGN). Bikash’s team is responsible for design, development, build and operation of Google’s massive global network that every Google service and the Google Cloud Platform relies upon. The GGN team develops the cutting edge intent driven networking technologies that allow Google's global WAN to be zero touch, builds out some of the largest scale SDN infrastructure ever deployed (B4, Espresso), scales Google's global CDN that fuels Youtube and all other Google services and expands the reach of Google's network by building the highest capacity submarine cables and the most programmable terrestrial optical networks. This infra is also the core network that underpins of all Google cloud services. If massive scale distributed systems, intent driven networking, cutting edge IP and optical technologies and operating a global infra at scale are your passion, we have a mission for you.

Prior to this, Bikash was the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Juniper Networks. In this role, Bikash charted Juniper’s technology strategy and led the execution of the company’s critical technology innovations. Specifically, Bikash was responsible for Juniper’s telco cloud and virtualization, multicloud enterprise datacenter and software defined enterprise networking products and technologies.
