Greg is CEO at Organigram Inc, a leading publicly-traded licensed producer of cannabis in Canada. With more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and consumer packaged goods industries, including a CEO role at a competitive licensed producer to become the first Canadian exporter of medical cannabis, Engel is a thought leader in the cannabis space wholly committed to product and service excellence. In his role at Organigram, Engel is proud to lead the company’s medical and recreational cannabis programs and the introduction of precedent-setting recreational brands, including the Edison Cannabis Co. and Edison Reserve premium product lines.

Nick Kuzyk

Chief Strategy Officer & SVP Capital Markets at High Tide Inc.
Nick joined High Tide in April of 2018 and brings over 15 years of experience in investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and business development. From early-stage ventures to large cap corporations, he has developed a balanced expertise comprised of both qualitative and quantitative aspects rooted in strategic communications and financial analysis. Nick holds both an HBA and MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (Ivey) at Western University, is the Treasurer of the Alberta chapter of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) and has also completed the CIRI/Ivey Strategic Management of Investor Relations Program. In his personal life, he spends time volunteering in the community for the benefit of causes about which he is passionate.

Jeannette VanderMarel

co-CEO and Director at 48North Cannabis Corp
Jeannette has a deep knowledge of both the production and retail sides of the cannabis industry, and a proven track record of delivering results. She previously co-founded and served as President of Good & Green and was a co-founder of The Green Organic Dutchman (TSX:TGOD), both Licensed Producers by Health Canada. With a critical focus of producing a high-quality, consistent, organic and homogenous product, Jeannette strives to elevate 48North in the cannabis industry, disrupting the market with next-generation cannabis products. Jeannette has been extensively engaged in Canadian agriculture and has worked with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to develop a cannabis-focused Good Agricultural and Collections Practice Program focused on plant identification, pest control products, purchasing, production, post-harvest processing, personnel training, preventative maintenance and recordkeeping.
