My specialty is in leading multidisciplinary teams. At 6 River Systems, I'm building and leading talented engineers, with backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, robotics, and cloud computing.My personal background is in Algorithms, Electrical Engineering, Firmware and Computer Science, with additional work in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering, which gives me a unique "Renaissance" perspective for solving challenging, multi-faceted problems.I love to build things. Paul leads the IoT Solutions Engineering team at Google Cloud focusing on making clients successful in their IoT pursuits. Paul has gained experience in the IoT over the past 4 years helping clients transform their business by created connected products. Working in all domains, many technologies, hardware, firmware, and software, Paul and his team are able to take ideas to reality in IoT. Paul joined Google through an acquisition of an IoT platform called Xively, where he led a team of prototyping and professional services engineers.

6 River Systems collaborative robotic systems help ship millions of products to customers every week. Joe Hughes leads the Software Operations and Quality Assurance teams at 6 River Systems. Joe architects and implements the cloud systems 6River Systems uses to help ensure customers get the products shipped out of the warehouse. Google Cloud provides 6River systems with the compute, big data, and IOT technologies, that allow the business to continuously provide new features and increased stability to our customers.
