Rachel Shinn
Tecnical Account Manager, Google Cloud at Google

About the talk

Depending on how your GCP projects are organized, you may not have the insight you need to make smart decisions about your spending. Target has hundreds of applications across multiple business units using various combinations of Google products, and they’re all deployed into a single project. With this structure, it can be challenging to calculate the cost attributed to each of these applications using basic billing data. Hear how we've leveraged Stackdriver Logging, Custom Metrics, Cloud Functions, BigQuery and Data Studio to generate better insights into our application costs, helping us to make smarter decisions.
