It’s no secret; we’re in the age of product now. After all, with digital products fully integrated into our lives, the best teams are naturally product-led, and that isn’t going to change any time soon. Tune into this session to discover exactly what that means for you as a marketer, as Amplitude’s VP of Product, Justin Bauer, forecasts what the next 2-3 years of product will look like, including the 3 key trends that are changing everything: redefining product as a full, end-to-end experience; placing a stronger emphasis on lifetime value; and reshuffling and rethinking business priorities to be product-led. You’ll even learn why product intelligence - not product analytics - will be secret to your success through several real-world, no-punches-pulled case studies.

I'm really excited to be here today to talk about some of the learnings that I've had has worked with. 00:05 Some of the best product LED companies out in the industry so I'm going to share a couple of trends that I'm seeing that I believe we're going to power the 00:12 future. 00:18 Products and hopefully trends that you can all take with you as you go back to your day jobs and start to great create great product experiences. 00:18
Just mention my name is Justin Bauer, 00:26 the VP of Product at Amplitude and like many product leaders. 00:28 I've had quite a varied. 00:31 Road to where I've ended up in the product. 00:33 Mike we're actually started in data science actually before we even called it data science. 00:35 I was technically an economist vision back then. 00:39 And then decided to figure out how to apply these skill sets. 00:42 I'd learn to the world of business and that's what brought me too. 00:45
We can see in Stamford and that is actually where I got the product bug and have been leading. 00:48 Products ever since I've worked in the enterprise be to be like I do. 00:54 Today I've also worked in consumer I've done healthcare in gaming. 00:57 And it's been great to see the evolution of how we build products and that's what I'm going to talk about today, 01:01 but before we do that. 01:07 Want to do a fun little exercise anyone knows what this picture is from. 01:08
Yes, exactly so those who don't know I'm going to give you some clues and how we took this photo. 01:15 It started with us literally shooting a rocket into space, 01:19 not rocket separated itself and traveled millions of miles before it got. 01:23 Close to the atmosphere of this foreign planet. 01:28 It then was able to navigate itself onto the surface safely. 01:32 And could create an amazing photo like this. 01:38
Now think about the technology that was required to be able to accomplish this, 01:42 I mean, this is literally. 01:46 Maybe one of the most impressive technological feats that we've ever done as a human race. 01:48 And these are the types of technology that we have on planet Mars and yet when we come back to the planet. 01:53 Earth our best products. 01:57 Still looks something like this. 01:57
