Hi my name is Chris Schreiber. 00:00 I'm here from Brandcast and begin a presentation today. 00:03 On webification. 00:06 On how to really expand your web content realestate how you can drive faster growth through that. 00:08 Brandcast we are based here in San Francisco. 00:16 Web content platform originally funded by Marc Benioff from Salesforce with really a vision of helping make much faster to create premium web content help marketing teams. 00:18

Get more results from their digital content. 00:29 Uh so I'm just going to talk about some trends sort of zoom out to start off with a lot of things that pretty much everyone in terms can be 00:33 familiar with. 00:39 First just thinking about today's buyer journey, 00:39 particularly on B2B we're just seeing the shift from a more sales lead process. 00:43

To much more self directed journey, 00:48 you see a lot of data like this, 00:50 you know over 2/3 buyers, 00:52 saying that content really drives 00:53 a lot of my purchasing decisions are really serves where my starting point for knowing if I want to go. 00:55

Down the path at all with the company and you know more or concerning for probably some sales folks is that almost 2/3 saying actually I don't even really want 01:01 to interact with a Sales rep a lot of the time, 01:09 if I don't have to. 01:10 I really want to be able to self educate. 01:11 Really drive my own journey. 01:14

In terms of who does interactive sales reps at one point is an interesting study from DemandGen roughly 50% of 01:14 buyers saying like I want to interact want have digested at least 3 pieces of content before I'm going to 01:24 engage in a conversation or even know if it's worth my time to interact with you on a legitimate sales conversation. 01:31 And so this gets to a challenge for us as marketers, 01:39 who we have more on our shoulders than ever before. 01:42

In terms of the responsibility of content to drive 01:45 outcomes not just to drive Top of funnel but to really help drive some of the selling motion and. 01:48 You know totally riffing off of it and we just came off of really understanding your visitors your buyers intent as they're going down and sharing is 01:55
