Laura Fox is currently the Market Manager for Lyft's Bikes and Scooters business in New York City, and oversees strategy, growth, operations, marketing, and the local P&L for a micromobility fleet that includes Citi Bike. Laura is also an adjunct professor of MBA strategy at NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to joining Lyft, Laura worked for Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company dedicated to building the city of the future through urban technologies and comprehensive development. Before that, Laura worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she led strategy and digital venture projects for urban mobility, technology, and cultural organizations. In parallel, she edited a book on bottom-up urban development principles ("Order Without Design" by Alain Bertaud) and delivered a TED talk on the role of curiosity and ignorance in the creative process.Earlier in her career, Laura managed cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, and engineers to create digital strategies and products in the Americas, Middle East, and Asia. This included working for public and social sector organizations such as the Qatar Museums Authority, Mexico City Department of Housing, World Wildlife Fund, and BRAC.Laura holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from New York University (NYU), Stern School of Business.
