Prior to joining Lyft, Laura worked for Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company dedicated to building the city of the future through urban technologies and comprehensive development. Before that, Laura worked for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she led strategy and digital venture projects for urban mobility, technology, and cultural organizations. In parallel, she edited a book on bottom-up urban development principles ("Order Without Design" by Alain Bertaud) and delivered a TED talk on the role of curiosity and ignorance in the creative process.
Earlier in her career, Laura managed cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, and engineers to create digital strategies and products in the Americas, Middle East, and Asia. This included working for public and social sector organizations such as the Qatar Museums Authority, Mexico City Department of Housing, World Wildlife Fund, and BRAC.
Laura holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from New York University (NYU), Stern School of Business. Originally from Chicago, Laura is most comfortable when she is uncomfortable, and learning something new.
Mim Senft has over 20 years of corporate experience in project management, benefits design and wellness program strategy and implementation, with a background in HR, benefits design, finance and health promotion. She has worked with regional, national and multi-national companies to better integrate health and wellbeing strategies, including gender leadership equity, into the work culture.
Mim is a member of the National Wellness Institute (NWI) and has served on the Board of Directors. She is a member of The Global Wellness Institute’s Future of Well Work Initiative, The American Sustainable Business Council, Int’l Economic Development Council, IFEBP and WELCOA.
