About the talk

Topic: IT

As GraphQL usage increases in an organization, Evans Hauser, Core Developer at Apollo, demonstrates why and how teams should practice agile schema development and iteratively evolve their schema over time.

While it’s tempting to define the “perfect schema” up front, Evans demonstrates a better approach to quickly roll out a data graph and then update it continuously, so it always reflects the latest user requirements.

Evans offers lots of practical examples and shows how to use tools like Apollo’s Graph Manager to enable this approach by tracking and validating changes. This session will help you get on track to prevent outages, focus work, and foster communication when developing and maintaining a data graph.
