The IoT Community® presents a panel discussion on the ever-changing digital security threat landscape, hosted by technology and security expert Jason Cook, Cyber Defense Labs COO and IoT Community Board Member. Current events have accelerated us into a virtual world that just in the last few weeks everyone is adjusting to… we are setting a new norm that will no doubt drive a new wave of innovation and way of life. We are suddenly embracing a virtual workforce, virtual schooling, virtual consumers, virtual patients, virtual shoppers and even for some virtual worshipers! Then you look at this from an IoT perspective – people are now taking their smart devices with them, technology embedded clothing, footware, medical devices (some embedded)… People are now a cluster of things, and now are multidimensional in the ‘virtual’ roles they live. This is fantastic progress, but at the same time significantly raises the risk – so how do we reduce and balance the risk with progress. Our panel will explore this.

Greetings everyone. Thank you for joining us and I welcome you to the security privacy and Trust segment. We're looking forward to discussing with you the subject reducing your risk in the virtual world of things and just discussing the sum of the panelists now abstract and really hungry framing our conversation here and I heard some public statements just recently out in the Press phrase that really struck me was we fell asleep and won't Weld and we've woken up in another world and we are now getting used to a new Norm if you think about that
in the context of the internet of things and just pull these thoughts together as we develop them. We are now as individuals a cluster of coyotes or Internet of Things. The current events that we have around his mouth rough smut just us but the whole planet into thinking that a dancing in a very different way as to how we live our lives not just now, but how we're going to continue to live our lives going forward. This current events is really accelerated and everyone into a virtual world in just a few weeks. The world's getting used to that the infrastructure around the world has been
creaking but actually at the same time it's been fixed and it's getting better immediately around that sense. But suddenly we will have to get used to being a little work force and virtual teacher has been part of the virtual school system and it will come up as many of us and Albert true worshippers in a life and if you look at that from an Internet of Things perspective, People are now taking wearing and bedding devices with them wherever they go in at the moment
