About speaker
Patrick Kirby is the founder of Do Good Better Consulting, author of the Amazon best seller Fundraise Awesomer! a practical guide to staying sane while doing good, host of the official Do Good Better podcast, and a believer that “We’ve always done it this way” is the most dangerous phrase in the English language. Patrick has spent nearly fifteen years working as a fundraiser in the nonprofit industry, for organizations of all shapes and sizes, and strives to ‘Do Good Better’ every day. From organizing $10,000 cure walks to $1 million galas, Patrick’s passion lies in creating creative solutions to make fundraising less boring. He earned his B.A. in “B.S.” (politics) at Loras College in Dubuque, IA, and is hopelessly addicted to super nerdy Sci-Fi Fantasy novels and old school Squaresoft® RPG Nintendo games. Patrick married out of his league to his wife Shannon, has three ridiculously adorable children named Spencer, Preston and Willow, and l ives in West Fargo, ND.

We have a lot of gratitude Erica did such a wonderful job
as she does every single year as soon as we sort of the rock and rolls through that I am eternally grateful for everybody here today. We anticipated us doing this event in July. We anticipated all of you being high fives and hugs and all that because we're hungry feeling kind of crew. And we can't and that's okay. But I want to thank you for taking the time on and spending the day with us learning something new be motivated by somebody you've never heard before. I generally just being awesome. And thank
you so much. I'd love to thank the countless people that come with us. I mean a skeleton crew because we are socially distance but the Skeleton Crew that's helping us get this together with the guys and gals at Mobile Pro who are making this happen behind the scenes to the rock stars. We're not only beaming through from here at the Pines wedding and event venue as kind of our base of operations or going across
