View the profileLisa Picard is President and Chief Executive Officer of EQ Office, where she leads vision and strategy for the company that is wholly owned by Blackstone. As CEO, Lisa inspires her team, partners and clients to move past legacy assumptions and seek new pathways toward value. She has a deep focus on the physical nature of real estate assets to maximize community and human potential, particularly in this age of rapid automation and technological change.Lisa joined EQ in 2016 as its Chief Operating Officer and was named CEO in 2017. She immediately worked to re-shaped the organization and now the office market to have greater relevance to shifting organizational culture.Prior to joining EQ, Lisa worked as a real estate executive for Skanska developing office and residential properties in the Northwest, while also guiding investments for the company in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. At Canyon Ranch Spa and Resorts, Lisa drove the expansion of the experiential hotel brand in developing a multi-towered residential hotel spa destination in Miami, Florida. And prior to Canyon Ranch, Lisa developed several office projects in Seattle for Hines Interests. Her career has touched over 6.5 million square feet of ground up development valued in excess of $5 Billion.

I'm so I'm a President of EQ office office obviously, which is Blackstone's office platform in the United States. It's comprised of roughly 30 million feet we service, you know over
2,000 tenants in our portfolio and needless to say no the office category is certainly been the topic of the day. That is true. And I'm really excited to sedate you have prepared. What is thoughtful and also amusing think about the work and so did a lot of commentary coming forward by probably every journal in a periodical about the office and is it really kind of bring us through, you know series of thoughts I've had, you know, particularly as we've entered
