Will review present and future outlook and trends for Energy Metals, EVs, Fuel Cells, and Hydrogen, along with trends in institutional investing in mine financing.
About speaker
Jeffrey M. Christian is Managing Partner at CPM Group, a precious metals and commodities research and consulting company he founded in 1986 in a buyout of the Goldman Sachs Commodities Research Group he managed at that time. He has a commanding understanding of the mechanics of precious metals and commodities trading and investing, as well as derivatives markets, commodities in general, and broad economic and financial trends. CPM advises major producers, users, governments, central banks, and institutional investors on how best to manage their financial exposure to precious metals and commodities. He advises on overall market trends, as well as on hedging, materials management, and investing strategies. In 2006 he published Commodities Rising, a book on commodities markets. Okay, I think I have control. Let me see how quickly I can go as we're all set then Ross. Thank you. And thank you to Minix and thank you to all who are listening play. The technology is simple enough for me to keep track of them. I'm going to be talking about new energy vehicles and electric vehicles and their impact on Metals market and we use the term new energy Vehicles
because we're something of Skeptics about electric vehicles, Just sort of see how I figured out. How do I move this year I go to hear. Just to let you know a little bit of background. I wrote a book on electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles in 1979. I've been studying all energy markets Alternative Energy markets and metals and other Commodities Sims 2 University in the early to mid seventies and and Followed a lot of Alternative Energy Technologies the theme of my 1979 collector's item book
basically was that electric vehicles were decades away from being commercially viable and that I was going to get into Metals research more wholeheartedly. So I went to jair and it ran their research Department in the clinical research group, and then we spun off in 1986. Throughout that time we continue to look at energy and energy Technologies. So we've got a fair bit of history and end and depth of our background.
