About the talk
The world currently faces uncertainties greater than perhaps any time since World War Two, from economics to politics to the global pandemic. Financial markets are it great disarray. Gold meanwhile has stealthfully made its way to record prices. CPM’s Jeffrey Christian will give a quick overview of the degrees of uncertainties, how they may shake out, and what may lie ahead for gold. He will explore changes in the monetary regime and financial markets as they affect gold.

About speakers
Philip has over 35 years of experience in stockbroking and commodities with a number of well-known stockbroking firms. He spent eight years as Head of Corporate Broking at WH Ireland Limited in London, where he was responsible for originating and managing equity transactions, including IPOs and secondary placings for corporate clients on AIM and other international exchanges including the Australian and Canadian stock exchanges largely in the natural resources sector. Mr Haydn-Slater has also worked in London and Sydney for various financial institutions including ABN Amro, Bankers Trust, James Capel & Co, and Bain Securities (Deutsche Bank) Sydney. More recently, given his wealth of experience, he has acted as an independent director on the boards of a number of public and private companies.

Christian is Managing Partner at CPM Group, a precious metals and commodities research and consulting company he founded in 1986 in a buyout of the Goldman Sachs Commodities Research Group he managed at that time. He has a commanding understanding of the mechanics of precious metals and commodities trading and investing, as well as derivatives markets, commodities in general, and broad economic and financial trends. CPM advises major producers, users, governments, central banks, and institutional investors on how best to manage their financial exposure to precious metals and commodities. He advises on overall market trends, as well as on hedging, materials management, and investing strategies. In 2006 he published Commodities Rising, a book on commodities markets. Woke Jeffrey is managing partner of CPM group and probably needs no introduction in this particular space is being founded the business in 86 and has been advising corporates governments and international bodies since the seventies. recommendation in November of 2004 gold and we said that we thought that there was a golden Renaissance that was occurring and that investors around the world would ReDiscover Mold in a way that they had not at least since World War II we saw a bull market from 2002 to 2011 2012. We considered a bear Market within a broader more secular bull market and that's where we think we're coming into the next leg up in that bull market. I say all roads lead to gold.
