William has almost 30 years of experience in hydrogeology. His particular strengths are in packer test and pumping test design and supervision, well test analysis, groundwater modelling and quantitative risk analysis. He has carried out well in excess of 100 projects for clients in the mining, water and waste management industries to support operations, technical studies for greenfield sites and closure. In recent years, he has been closely involved with and managed a number of open pit and underground mine hydrogeological studies in Europe, India, Africa and the Middle East. He has just completed a hydrogeological and geochemical modelling study for an underground gold mine in the Central Lapland Gold Belt (CLGB) and is currently managing a technical study to support a large open pit operation in Central Finland.View the profile
Michael Di Giovinazzo is a Mining Geomechanics Engineer with over 18 years’ experience in hard rock underground and open pit mining operations and projects. After graduating with BSc in Applied Geology from Curtin University, the initial 2 years was with near-mine exploration for gold companies in Western Australia and West Africa. Michael transitioned to mining geomechanics attaining postgraduate qualification from the West Australia School of Mines (WASM). For over 10 years’ he held various geomechanics engineering roles for operating mining companies in Australia across underground and surface mining operations, operational geotechnical team leading, and feasibility studies. This experience incorporated various underground and surface mining methods including SLC, open stoping, deep open pits, managing cave-pit interaction, as well as providing geotechnical planning and guidance of numerous brownfields underground and open pit projects. Consulting experience with SRK’s Nordic offices in the last 8 years’ has been across various commodities, project stages and study levels mainly in the Nordic region, Europe, and Africa. Michael specialises in operations support, geotechnical risk management, geotechnical data collection programs, rock mass characterisation, underground mine design, open pit slope design, ground control monitoring and hazard management.View the profile

So I'm going to head over to you with him. I think you're going to kick off. Thank you. Flight let me know if you can see. Yep, they carry on with him. Good afternoon, everyone today Michael. Jeevan at so and I will be giving a presentation on how one can piggyback hydrogeological and geotechnical information on the back of resource an infill drilling programs effectively to bring protect iron has more value in terms of the information in the projects. And also let me see saving money as well.
The backgrounds of this is that with very conscious that results on infill drilling programs to support expiration studies in tile a lot of drilling over the course of some years sometimes on the bigger projects were talking about tens of Columbus's of drilling when you reflect on the fact that blows cost typically a hundred fifty to two hundred euros, you can accrue a considerable amount of expenditure over several years on this begs the question. Well, if at the end of thoughts you have a results but not much else. Is there an opportunity for
