About the talk
Improve production, blast-clearing times, energy savings, and, most importantly, increased safety for underground workers are some of the benefits that Ventsim CONTROL can bring to your operation.
This presentation will be an interactive session with one of our mine ventilation engineering experts, where you will be able to see our screen as we take you through the range of advanced features of Ventsim CONTROL software.
Topics covered will include:
• What is Ventilation on Demand (VOD)? and what’s the difference between Ventilation Optimization and VOD?
• What are the five levels of control within our software?
• Case studies.
• Different ways of integrating the software.
00:55 Ventilation on-demand vs ventilation optimization
03:41 Levels of control
06:16 VentSim control software
11:15 Software/hardware integration
13:02 Case studies

Pavel has 21 years of experience and has been with Howden since 2000. In the past ten years, he has been at the forefront of the development of the Ventsim CONTROL software tool for mining applications as well as the SmartEXEC HVAC software tool for industrial applications. Recently Pavel has been actively involved in ventilation and pumping simulation consulting for underground mines.View the profile
Onyx speaker presentation from the ventilation spice and I was going to be about Benson control ventilation on to Mom's and I guess how we can reap the benefits of this new technology in an Armani operations that I Run To You Thanks so much. My name is kava bar Tack and without inventing a solution has anything to you at Benson control, which is a ventilation summation tool and a live Skeeter for ventilation control. So let's go into the background here. So what is the
difference between ventilation on demand and ventilation optimization? So in ventilation optimization some examples are running your fans be at the manual setting remotely synchronizing to fans to rent steam speed having a gas sensor open automatically Theodore or having a flow measurements at I just seen a regulator on the ground or having a schedule an event that can that open an air flow regulator on the ground. And there's ventilation on demand as well and which is a
type of insulation up my station. So what is ventilation on demand? It's an automatic calculation of the air for the Land Based on vehicle and personal presence. So how's of VOD work using the mine's ventilation existing infrastructure And We Gather at the vehicle positions Personnel positions are foes gas sensors and then we send that to events in control which intern takes the calculated values determine if necessary fans and The Regulators are Russians and send that information
