Cindy Rose was appointed Microsoft UK CEO & Corporate Vice President in July, 2016. In this role, she is responsible for all of Microsoft’s product, service and support offerings across the United Kingdom, continuing the company’s transformation into the leading productivity and platform company for the mobile-first, cloud-first era.Prior to joining Microsoft, Cindy was Managing Director of the UK Consumer division at Vodafone where she led the expansion of its retail store estate from 350 to over 500 stores and returned the business to growth after 12 consecutive quarters of revenue decline.Before Vodafone, she was Executive Director of Digital Entertainment at Virgin Media where she managed the development and commercial deployment of Tivo and Virgin Media TV Anywhere. Before that, Cindy spent 15 years at The Walt Disney Company where she held a variety of roles including General Counsel for Disney EMEA and, ultimately, SVP & Managing Director of the Disney Interactive Media Group.From 2013 to 2019, she served on the Board of Informa plc, a FTSE 100 business information, academic publishing and events company, as an independent Non-Executive Director. In 2019, she was appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director of advertising and media giant WPP.Cindy is a graduate of Columbia University and New York Law School. She is married with 4 children, and loves playing tennis, travelling with her family, and good food and wine.

Tim Shriver is a social leader, an educator, activist, film producer, and business entrepreneur. He is the Chairman of Special Olympics, and in that capacity he serves 4.8 million Special Olympics athletes and their families in 170 countries. He has helped transform Special Olympics into a movement that focuses on acceptance, inclusion, and respect for individuals with intellectual disabilities in all corners of the globe.

As chief financial officer I am responsible for leading Microsoft’s worldwide finance organization, including acquisitions, treasury activities, tax planning, accounting and reporting, internal audit and investor relations.Prior to this role I was CFO of Microsoft’s Business Division, responsible for the company’s productivity applications and services including Microsoft Office 365, Office, SharePoint, Exchange, Dynamics ERP and Dynamics CRM. In this role I helped lead the transition to the company’s Office 365 service and was deeply involved in the strategy development and execution of the company’s successful acquisitions of Skype and Yammer.On the way to work every day, I say to myself ‘today is a good day for a good day.’ You have to start every day feeling like that is the day you’re going to make progress.
