Good morning. Good afternoon. This is Chris Sullivan. Thank you for that excellent presentation and I'm in the process of sharing my screen. So hopefully this will come up and just one moment. Very good so it's my pleasure to be with the world of IoT community today presenting from Chicago, Illinois. And I function is both the healthcare center of excellence board chairperson for the IoT community and also as the global Healthcare Practice Lead for Zebra Technologies.
Our session today is on the healthcare internet of things and I'm going to share perspectives on whether this is hype or this is real and my point of view is going to be that it is both of that there are lots of hikes but also if you look closely lots of exciting progress and I'm going to highlight some perspectives around that and then offer up how the IoT community our global organization can make a difference in accelerating the pace around now. Okay, so let's talk about the hype
worldwide. There has been an enormous amount of investment pumped into healthcare IoT applications one study by Mackenzie tags, the global spend by 2025 as 1.6 trillion dollars a different study highlights to date or real-time in 2019 about six hundred million dollars has been spent in healthcare IoT technology investment.
