View the profileJoseph Aamidor is an experienced product leader and expert in smart buildings, real estate technology and facility operations. He provides product and market strategy guidance to building owners/operators, established building management firms, technology providers, investors, and early-stage innovators. Previously, he served as Director of Product at Lucid Design Group and was a product manager at Johnson Controls. He is an internationally recognized speaker and a frequent contributor to leading industry publications such as Propmodo, Greentech Media, Built Worlds and CRE Tech.
View the profileI joined the Switch Automation leadership team in March 2019. As the Vice President of Operations, I oversee all US operations daily and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. I also lead strategic planning for the business and help ensure profitability.Before joining Switch Automation, I worked at U.S. Green Building Council as the Mountain Region Director. I managed a team, executed large scale events, and created a regional growth strategy across an eight state region. Prior to this role, I served as the USGBC Colorado executive director.I consider Denver, Colorado, home but grew up mostly in Central Pennsylvania. I travel regularly to connect with friends, family and market leaders.I earned a Master's degree in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the University of Denver in 2018. Before moving to Denver, I lived in Fort Collins and earned a BA in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University.Most recently, I completed a professional certificate program at University of Colorado Boulder in Sustainability Management.
