Casey is the Managing Director and a General Partner at Camber Creek. Prior to Camber Creek, Casey was President of Operations for one of the Washington DC area’s largest privately held real estate development and management companies. He founded Camber Creek 8 years ago and oversees all aspects of the organization. Casey leads the due diligence process for potential investments, makes investment decisions and participates in the management of portfolio companies. Casey currently serves on the boards of a number of Camber Creek portfolio companies.

View the profileFor more than 30 years, my practice has focused nationally on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including real estate private equity, joint ventures, preferred equity financings (senior, mezzanine and construction), debt acquisitions, leased fee, distressed, recapitalization and acquisition and sale transactions. In these transactions, I regularly represent institutional investors and investment advisors, tax-exempts, real estate funds and owner/operators. Recently, Goodwin launched a PropTech Initiative, designed to bring together our deep Tech and RE Platforms for the benefit of our clients, and I have teamed with Tech colleagues to lead that effort.In 2017, I became the Chair of Goodwin's Global Real Estate Industry Group, which continues to see strong growth across our 10 global offices and was named the number 1 law Real Estate Group by Commercial Property Executive in 2017. The group is a dynamic group that regularly handles fund formation, transactional and real estate public company and M&A for our clients who span the globe.

I'll introduce our panelists in just a couple minutes, but to set the stage for you here. We hope to talk about changes that this team has seen over the last year. Which has been rather dynamic and profound. We hope to talk about sustainability in the way that the venture firms of the world are thinking about it. And then we have to talk about you know, what interesting and Innovative and investment thesis. So with that let me introduce our panelists today. We have Casey Berman is the Founder of Camber Creek. That is a company that he was
8 years ago focused on DC and proptech space. He comes from a deep real estate background. Having worked in Real Estate Management. For many years in DC before he founded Camber Creek. Clelia Peters is a colleague who wears many many hats over the years presently. She's a Venture Partner at Bain Capital Ventures where she focuses on proptech infesting. She was a Co-founder in the early days before proptech had any traction, And she has also served as a President at a company.
We have KP Reddy, I certainly last but not least and KP comes from an engineering background. He's a tech guy, by training and expert in robotics AI technology is used on how we see should invest in what they should invest and so I hope that this will be a very vibrant dialogue.
