Erik Fossum Færevaag is the Founder and President of Disruptive Technologies, a Norwegian Tech company providing The World’s Smallest Wireless Sensor. The company has received numerous recognized awards such as Gartner Cool Vendor, Nordic Startup Awards, Norwegian Tech Awards etc. The sensor is the size of a postage stamp with 15 years battery lifetime, unmatched ease-of-use and scalability. View the profileRachel Steinberg is a Director, Product Management at Sidewalk Labs. Before Sidewalk Labs, she was the Chief Product Officer at Shortlist, a talent tech company in India and Kenya. During her tenure, she led the Product, Design, Data, and Assessments teams.Prior to Shortlist, she was the Associate VP at Housing.com. She led 65 people in the Rentals and the Solutions verticals which developed features that spanned all products, like recommendation engines, search, and personalization. Her focus on technology stemmed from her work at the International Finance Corporation, where tech-enabled small businesses in emerging markets offered scalable impact. After IFC, she worked at IBM on financial applications and co-founded Explain, a multimedia storytelling company.During Harvard Business School, she worked at Google, co-created an audio app, and took as many coding classes as possible. Rachel loves urban planning, which she studied alongside public policy at Princeton University. She is always up for taking urban adventures, exploring new places, creating curated maps, and enjoying photography. She can also recommend great corner chai from her four years of living and working in India.

In 2013, we saw a promising IoT industry full of opportunities overflown with privacy and environmental concerns. We decided it was time for disruptive IoT sensor technology with sustainability at its forefront. We developed a sensor solution that kept that initial promise. And we have been committed to delivering sustainability across our solutions ever since.

So, I think we'll get started here, thanks for joining this session. It's great to be here at CREtech and also to see that sustainability becomes an interest in technology companies out there. And that we can contribute in that space. We are Disruptive Technologies. I'm Eric Fossum, I'm the Founder and President of Disruptive. And I'm proud to have Rachel here, one of my partners from Sidewalk Labs. They have built a fantastic product with our solution. So maybe you would like to introduce yourself, Rachel?
