Good morning, everyone, and a very warm welcome to day 2 of Reimagining Real Estate Sustainability Summit European Perspective. My name is Julie Hirigoyen, I'm the Chief Executive at UK Green Building Council. And I'm delighted to be your co-chair for today. My point of view. This conference is really timely because here in the UK just last week or government announce alone new green homes grand scheme, which is intended to support citizens to make improvements Energy Efficiency improvements insulation improvements in your energy
installations. I'm really not boosting job creation and consumer spending at the time when I heard from the pandemic of driving. I'll call in a mission. I'm meeting our legislative target of Net Zero carbon by 2050. So this relationship between real estate on sustainability is really high up on the agenda right now and our minds are turned to how we emerge from this pandemic with the green recovery and then just getting back to business as usual. Not you take me darling Council. We are delighted to be supporting this conference
