Shobi Khan is an industry expert and brings more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Mr. Khan currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for Canary Wharf Group (CWG). CWG has overseen the largest urban regeneration project in Europe and is a fully integrated private real estate company that develops, manages and currently owns approximately 8.5 million square feet of office, 1 million square feet of retail and 327 Build to Rent units. The company’s current £3.8 billion development pipeline is comprised of 1.5 million square feet of office/retail properties, and over 3,000 new homes: for sale, for rent, intermediate and affordable. CWG is an industry leader in sustainability including purchasing 100% renewable electricity for the Estate since 2012 and zero waste going to landfill from the managed Estate since 2009. Previously, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of GGP Inc. (a NYSE listed retail REIT). He oversaw day-to-day operations including investments, joint-venture partnerships, asset management, marketing, business intelligence and strategy. Over his 7+ years at GGP, he led approximately $13 billion in transactions including the $1.5 billion Rouse company stock spin-off in 2012. Julie Hirigoyen is Chief Executive of the UK Green Building Council and a Commissioner for the London Sustainable Development Commission. She was previously UK Head of Sustainability and an International Director at JLL, where she oversaw the development of cutting-edge sustainability services to property investors and occupiers across the UK and EMEA. Julie sits on the Green Construction Board, the Igloo Sustainable Investment Advisory Committee and the Carbon Trust Advisory Panel.
