An Ender, thanks all for joining today section and it's been a pleasure. I hope you all are enjoying the conference as I am. It's a great conference Across the Nation multiple times, but so many interesting topics. It's really a great contribution to the AI Community a gated community. And then I am the head of engineering data engineering and Innovation at the apartments Enterprise data organization Bao. And today I'm going to talk about AI in healthcare but mainly talking about data transformation is helping with the

digitization and the air pollution in healthcare and is going to be continued to be also the curious I'm going to charge are generally some of the industry trends that we're seeing in the Big Data many of you are well aware and the key drivers and some of the key focus of the hell are ya I uncultured data transformation talk a little bit about how we go about developing strategies in healthcare General business or Enterprise and then focusing on Healthcare and the reason being is it is transformational and it requires a lot of focus on East Ridge Acadias as well as our

tactical approach and that we would see that's how you know as much as all the Enterprise Elite Healthcare organizations are very excited and In the Journey of this transformation how much uncertainty there Still Remains on how much risk and risk of failure or how much unpreparedness are still out there. So we want to be a very crafty about how we approach this digitization to Big Data and AI some of the use cases it's time for me and then take any question

after you can always reach me at LinkedIn and we can continue the conversation there. So can you see my screen? Okay. I just want to start with in how our interactions are exploding across the board and I think in many ways and hide it in many articles and presentations in mini in these as well as I just tried to break into the mobile devices 2 hour radius iot devices it today as well as it were the interaction Google had been writing exponential it was in the 200 are not too long ago in 2010

and we are projecting to cross our reach 5000 everyday in the next 5 years. So that also means that the internet and across devices across the billions of people in the world are increasing it is producing more and more data footprint from our day-to-day activities from Orange. Financial and clinical exchange transaction. And while these data is going to be very meaningful from an AI perspective and from a perspective is being seen a lot of new challenges and how do we manage this data? And that's why it's really critical. If not yesterday

organizations are prepared to manages data better and manage this to their advantage to increase their competitive advantage in the healthcare specialty managed to cause that we always hear about and we see increasing exponentially impacting not only the affordability but also the quality in my device. So with that we are projecting or Industries projecting that we already have entered the cenobites word of data. And bathe a 20 20 Wheels almost USD and we are reaching outward 50 divides which is many many zeros

after a well-known petabytes, but our exabyte and it is going to increase in a 2/3 Ford in the next 45 years. If you receive that most of the CEOs are what are you get the are behind in this data management and AI integration Journey 60% from IBM survey things that they are behind and even the ones that are failing to act then not taking full advantage of this data in education and learning how to make it is going to have similar to impact and itching down if not more activity on the healthcare industry and we are That the data analytics overall Market has

increased that investment in from the Reese's and in turn has increased exponentially and it is going to increase over the next decade with the EHR and some of the other key drivers Healthcare caused the convention and Courier Service in front of all, these are going to drive the organization's if not already to become more and more data-driven more and more predictive in nature and has a eye is becoming more and more critical Health Care as well. And I mentioned Innovation just a quick lube 80% increase on

a VC investments in healthcare related products on digitization and it has been since 2010 increasing in strength, but overall volume and success stories. So there's been over all more than 5,000 right now deals that has been invested weather PCS are and quarter-over-quarter from last quarter of 2019 to first quarter of 2020. And then the Corvette fuelie had a larger impact in some areas, but we don't have 80% dude from 1.6 billion to 2.5 billion by the early this

year. Are again a focused on digitization on the various devices devices the whole EHR and user experience automation Revolution that's happening in a big focus is as you can see it's been the second highest investment idea and I think by the end of the patient care as well as focusing on building out the next generation of tools and Technologies to provide better Healthcare better patient experience enormous because the data is enormous and one of the thing I have seen and you all have experienced. I'm sure

am in the same way. Is that in healthcare the big Of the data Allen is if most of the data is in unstructured form in image form or in some streaming data form, which is difficult to harvest in the addition. And that's why I'm using those is going to be a big is a big part of this AI journey in healthcare and unleashing the data will open up almost 80% of that would lead to so much Innovation. Once we get over this hump of your managing the data in the healthcare space and then diving and focusing more and more

spending more and more time duration and improving the diagnostic tool. The various diseases and be prepared and proactive in managing those from Texas to cancer risk and utilisation management risk from a military perspective from fraud detection. And as managing the UK legislation of resources of our capacity of those combined to help with utilization and reduce the cost improving the quality of care and patient engagement. So becoming more patient Century building that patient 360 which we always have been dreaming about

but has been has not been able to do it as often as we'd like to give done it well in the structured while getting the data from the EHR and building that are in a transaction abased transaction information are clinical information based patients view, but we want to go more we want to connect it with other day. Patients from the Diagnostics data to bedside Health devices and other genomic data all this combined once we have better and better view of the patient. You can engage better. We can sleep better and we can all secure better by analyzing understanding

and driving those far more innovative solutions. So that's why I just think of time that in general that is certainly is a reality challenges of managing the volume. Organization fast on that is the biggest that we have today and that also comes with other data management. And now with Amore governance ethics and other more important rules management within the date of construction and also finding the right balance in resources as we want to transform fat and going to the new world of AI with all the new Cloud big data and.

And again a lot more data about me not so much data, but organizations in healthcare. I just not able to unleash and harvest it to the extent possible almost 80% of the time that I spent the day by day the scientist or business analytics teams integration and solving the actual problem are actually spending most of their time at 80% and more it exists in just managing harvesting and preparing the data. And even though it is pretty established companies have not only being more efficient customer service or patient experience, but

also has been more productive and learning more everyday but yet Have the proper view of their customer or patient information patient leader in one place? I think TimeWise we will be pretty challenge to jump quickly. You're all in some ways have seen various forms of this and Alex MetroCard that Gardner and when we are looking at is how the data or data is transforming the capability we started with the operational bi on the more structured data and which is worse and that is essential to understand where the business is today in terms of finances getting customers

patient cost and all those good things. Addictive when our patient comes to the hospital can we predict the risk of having sepsis or sepsis infection and if we can predict it even by a few hours, if not days that can make a huge difference life and death difference in patient care and patient outcomes That's How The Gardener's carved as it's moving from operational di2 or collective intelligence our big data and the drivers of all this information available. Now with work is going to drive us more words on the

side of beef. And quickly touching on the Strategic view you always like to touch on Davenport offensive and defensive essentially is focused on management security privacy on a positioning and profitability more on both side, right? We need our Baseline survival with a compliance and Regulatory and risk management position surveys and hence profitability optimization, but this is more focused words more basic type of segmentation strategy. Inside he's more focused on Saturdays in storing and compliance monitoring governance and

how we can understand model caterpillar and Freddy and visualize from Dan and often side of things is little more advanced in forward-looking little more flexible and Gilmore a flexible in architecture flexible in the offering you and I am going to watch on the basic stuff. But the concept of data always lies that we know that we need a single version of Truth to actually have a clearer and more enterprise-wide data in one place. That is Master data. Are there be another Pierre

supply store in a central data storage the data Lake. Once we have that then we can drive up that data provide other information from one single version of Truth and being the advantage of that is what we are seeing and what is a supporting is that the single version of Truth is such enormous and you know initial foundation work is also more time-consuming. So mostly the defensive type of strategy focuses on that while the office is strategy are where you need. And quick quick and movement and you need more Innovation Inc of retail Amazon there.

They're kind of shy away from that and it It's okay for them in some cases are more beneficial to go for an MBA. Needs to be about the government's a little bit but I think driver enabling architecture for this new types of strategy would be around in this two types of data enabled. And mostly you where we are today, is that the hospitals and Healthcare is more on the different type of industry and have a lot more of mission critical aspect of our offering because it's

in a patient's life and cure. So we are more on the defense side. Where is the retail stink Amazon Macy's of the world who can innovate or who can who has more flexibility to play with the customer say that building there to see if you are pretty I need the prediction is wrong. If you just don't sell on that space today risk from that and is much much less from a mission critical perspective more on the office side and banks are kind of waiting on board because they have they have to be aggressive on the customer acquisition side, but they're all

so pretty But what I have found but the most effective one is of course, you can't, you know, just focus on one area. Most affected one is finding that right balance between these two approach and figuring out what most practical for implementation as well as most value added for your organization and for your business objectives, and that is where the key is to find out more of a balance combined approach that makes you know your key business objective an alliance with it

and it's kind of Across the industry's but there would be certain by us because of the focus of the industry has been having in healthcare will probably always paint because of the criticality application as well as the various tribulations and patient information, which is extremely important for us to protect from a privacy hip-hop Phi perspective. Ask a few other slides. I'll just glanced quickly talking about in what are the key areas, when we talked about digital transformation in here. I mentioned about the single version of Truth briefly.

And when you are looking at the next generation of digital capability, you want to look at the DNA backbone of food good footprint a where you can bring all your data the version of Truth in one place. And that is the date. That is the new. If not, the first one I've done is 7 years old now, so it is something you are getting more of a centriole in healthcare that having a data Lake where we can bring all the dinner in one place and make that a single version of Truth and

drive all the data-driven activities. Real-time analytics side or building out there as a service as if you don't help applications and filling out data science and are capable. So you managed to retain one place. It's more cost-effective and you have the capability now in one place to navigate from patients are social interaction social media as well as the various iot device streaming data that can come together so we can build more and more addictive and Innovative and real-time analytics solution for our patients or a

provider's again for the same reasons for deficiency cause management pedicure better quality of service. And governance is a healthcare and more reliable. Unbiased and better manage the government. Of course. I did a quality program around with the new Cloud little egg and potato and the innovative ways that the data quality and their governance tools are coming together on this combined now, we are in much better shape than before to do that more effectively on on the BP to work and have better and more reliable and

algorithms that can drive. I'm going in fast because of our time constraints and a you want to give a few minutes for any question. I am now, I'm bleeding out the Next Generation data and AI back pain capability the cloud and sexy radio sub service data science capabilities. We are focusing on driving lines of a strategic components that are talked about in our goal is to create a consistent experience and depth of Kiara and value-based Care balancing all those together and capturing the industry investment in a more meaningful ways.

Having the privilege of sitting on a gold mine of data with her 16 Hospital Systems the top notch research organizations Across the Nation. We are on the edge of building out next generation of innovation in healthcare with you say that you want to share it commercializing so we can have more impact in our program has experience dealing more research and development Diagnostics to cure or treatment ProActive Management of breath of the action and management of disease and then optimizing our

operations to reduce the car and improve the quality. Is it be our key focus on the program and it supposed to be Sunday in general and common killers that can drive a d train station at 8. Which we've been talking about quite a bit and then the research to gather more and more inside and we went out and building the foundation first when we look at some point value ads and then grow in a Berman & Final goal is to build out of service organization where Innovation can only happen on the

core arms of data scientist by Across the organization that can be spread out whatever we have ideas. We can play with the day that we can play with building of your burrito and come up with an innovation. We can focus on investing more and growing more on those Concepts that the journey and our strategy Is mint ready to build a foundation build heavy-duty Innovation focus on heavy-duty disruptive innovation and continues. And there are tons of abuse cases as you can imagine in in

healthcare that is brewing and we are certainly focused on in various aspects of it as a centralized organization or a timer for patient and navigate from Pinnacle data to Farmer City agnostics and all these combined provide preventive care and ways quality Care is certainly across the industry. So we are population Health to better manage and measure the disease pain Channel with David actually help Equity is a big part of it and we are focused on again to data to analyze understand and assess. And then through data the move towards

enabling various service areas are strengthening, but we need to so we can provide better service to the patient and Industry distance. I think we should eat afterwards but the research time for detective and protective eye treatments are first Diagnostics in detection, and then and then cost fraud financials, like any other part of the health care cost increases because of Fraud and Financial. I think we are close to thyme weekly wanted to touch base and few use cases that are currently working on

CY positions as seeing the advantage and benefits. Ehrd Panic Station in the most efficient are working late night food in the capture and putting the information of the patients and that has caused tremendous challenge in Greater satisfaction and burnout and also causing risk in some ways. Do we want to Monitor and interviewing it and see how we can improve it and actually has been found by Mayo Clinic that if we can identify the Physicians who are suffering from this burnout by working too

much too late and long hours on maybe putting in capturing patient information on the HR or analyzing and gathering information for the next surgery. if he's Asian Andy Bernard has gone down by almost 54% this journey that how can we go about our user experience as simple as it sounds but it has tremendous impact epic and we want to we are collecting all the information providers and we're disappointed and this is also something that we used for the training in the HR professionals nurses and doctors Physicians mostly and also,

Building out better user experience by analyzing which greens are which clicks are taking longer and which functional is are not optimized and this is an ongoing thing, but we are going to focus heavily on this because the value is tremendous only it's going to help minimize the risk and satisfied provider. We can provide Better Health Care.
