Industry 4.0 is a digital transformation which intends to bring together the IT and OT domains. But how can this convergence be done when there are so many fundamental differences between them. What lessons can we take from the digital transformation of IT while adapting to the new OT challenges? How should Hybrid Cloud, Edge Computing, IoT and 5G be leveraged for this convergence? Can the locked down and siloed data environments of the traditional OT domain be transformed in a way so that they are more open yet more secure? Will the real-time data within the OT domain finally free itself from the people, paper and process which traps its value today?
In this session, Mac Devine from IBM and Jerry Chen from NVIDIA will address these challenges.

Yeah, so thank you very much Kevin. So I have the privilege today to talk kind of following if you will the perfect segue if you will from the panel that I was just on when we talked about as a service and how that was going to emerge neot space and how icy and sot needed to come together. So this is really what I wanted to talk about in this session on when Kevin asked me to speak. I reached out to my friend Jerry chin over on the Nvidia side because they're doing some amazing things to kind of bring some the Lessons Learned in the IT world over in studio T world and so I'll ask a jury
to introduce himself. So he's not known as the panel Crasher. If you were on the previous session with with Tommy called in the panel Crashers to Let's really get an introduction to a huge area. So sorry about crashing the pain a little bit earlier there. So as Max said, my name is Jerry Chen head up Global business development in and out. Golden manufacturing at Invidia. I'm in a long time envidian can't believe it. But I've been that Nvidia now for 20 years as of this month. I actually got a background from a from a training perspective in mechanical engineering and
actually grew up from a professional perspective and working and in the solid mechanics at a finite element analysis somebody that many of you maybe it's Miller with call Abacus, but it's a pleasure for me to be here in this is an area that is a strong Focus for a video as many of you know, I'm looking forward to having a chat with you guys. Yeah it for your off but those aren't perhaps Warren Olney of the previous panel discussion. We're introduced herself real quick. My name is not active on I am the idea that runs are cloud-native Center Compton. See what my team
does is they we really focus on kind of next generation of technology and solutions that we are going to focus on and so the last year year-and-a-half on my team is really been focusing on your network and how i t a note to your coming together. And so I went to him and asked
