About the talk
As regulation surrounding hemp cultivation and processing takes shape there remains tremendous confusion on both the industry and consumer side surrounding payment processing. As the SAFE Banking ACT stalls in the Senate and courts continue to scrutinize 280-E tax filings, support for the financial aspects of CBD sales and production can seem non-existent. Our panel of industry veterans, lawyers, and financial professionals discuss the legal, and practical logistics of merchant processing and banking hemp related monies.

View the profileFor the first 30 years of my career I developed and published games for top video game companies such as Activision, Atari, Sierra On-Line, and Gremlin Interactive. The games I have worked on over the years have sold hundreds of millions of units. Some of those games are Grand Theft Auto 1, 2, 3, Quake 2, Mech Warrior, Zork Nemesis, and Leisure Suit Larry. Most recently I've started investing in Bitcoin as early as 2013 and have since helped others increase their net worth by well over 25x ROI by providing early advice, consultation, and classes on crypto trading strategies. I'm an early adopter of Bitcoin and crypto currency. In addition I also provide my own TA (technical analysis) of the top 100 alt coins I use for day trading. In June of 2003 I formed Pulse Interactive, an independent mobile developer and publisher. I substantially grew the company's portfolio of games and revenue in a little over three years. In 2006, after winning the Best Mobile Game of E3 award, I sold Pulse to SK Telecom, the largest mobile operator in South Korea, for a sizable exit and stayed on at SK to help them grow their US business. In 2008 I saw a need for compelling content to be created and distributed by various digital distribution platforms, believing that very soon the majority of content will be distributed digitally.
