Hemp for the Future LLC. has put together a team of Hemp experts to help guide communities with the proper education, finance, insurance, equipment, tools, legal, processing/logistics and resources to be able to help plant, cultivate and process hemp in a cooperative fashion.

As an alternative to traditional drugs, functional food and dietary supplements can help in the prevention or treatment of several diseases. Based on my education and experience in the fields of nutrition, biochemistry, and molecular biology, I am developing biological assays assessing the real efficiency of natural ingredients. These assays are used for the formulation and validation of claim substantiation. To test the efficacy of natural ingredients and to develop effective nutraceuticals I founded DSTest Laboratories at Purdue Research Park. I published more than 90 scientific peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and articles describing molecular mechanism of activity and efficiency testing of natural products and dietary supplements. I am an invited speaker at international and national scientific meetings where I present recent discoveries how natural compounds improve human health on the cellular level.

A native of Calgary, Canada Dean Johnson is an experienced Senior Executive with over 25 years in oil/gas, construction, finance and cannabis. Dean has honed an unparalleled level of diverse project management and financial acumen in his contributions to Suncor, a Forbes Top 134 on the Global 2000 list. He has assisted numerous companies on development of financial controls, measurements, governance and reporting. He has been integral in developing key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assist in continuous improvement across a broad array of organizations. His skillset includes strong development and implementation skills, coupled with the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels, client concentrations, auditing capacities and board indices. Dean commands excellent problem-solving skills together with the ability to build solid relationships and influence cross-functional teams. His skillset integrates effective management skills proven by understanding organizational needs, and by planning and execution of strategic programs with attention to detail and accuracy. A fiscally conservative and ethical manager focused on maximizing resources. Dean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, and an advanced degree in Economics from the University of Regina in Saskatchewan Canada. He is a board certified public accountant (CPA) in Canada. He is a life time resident of Western Canada, where his family currently resides.

I am the founder and co-owner of PHARM CBD in Bedford, KY (Est. 2018). We grow and process hemp using our CO2 extraction plant, and use the extracts to formulate healthcare products for people in our community and surrounding areas. Being vertically-integrated allows us to better control product quality from seed to sale, or from the farm to PHARM! I am certified by the USA Society for Quality (ASQ) in pharmaceutical current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and quality systems auditing. I have years of experience managing and implementing quality systems, developing quality procedures and plans, and conducting laboratory audits and data quality reviews for client-managed testing programs, in order to help clients manage their liabilities. This experience translated well to establishing our company as producing the highest quality, and consistent hemp derived products on the market. The technical guidance and experience that I have developed working with laboratories, has allowed PHARM CBD to develop laboratory testing specifications, validation and testing protocols, sampling and analysis plans and quality assurance project plans to support the third-party characterization of our data. I am an analytical chemist by trade and have several years of analytical method development, validation and trouble-shooting experience across many industries and many matrices.

I am a Physician Assistant with almost 5 years of experience in pain management. I saw first hand how CBD can help patients with chronic pain and that sparked my interest. I started a Wellness clinic specializing in Non-Opioid Pain Therapies and then started my own CBD line. It is important that my patients are able to obtain legitimate THC free products due to a lot of my patients being on pain medicine contracts. I obtained the registered trademark "Medically Assisted CBD" to bring more legitimacy to the CBD and show patients they have a trusted medical provider in this space.
