About the talk

From Black-boxes to Glass-boxes: making AI trustworthy and explainable for all enterprises

Fiddler is building the next generation of AI: explainable AI, which works to make AI black-boxes more like AI glass-boxes. Explainable AI provides the level of visibility needed for teams to have 100% confidence in what they’re building. For instance, a pioneer in Responsible AI in the HR industry uses Fiddler to increase transparency and mitigate bias in its tech talent marketplace.

Fiddler’s Explainable AI Platform unlocks the AI black box and ensures humans thoroughly understand the “why” behind AI predictions. Fiddler achieves this by using industry-leading explainability algorithms, including FIDL, Fiddler’s proprietary implementation of Shapley, which adds confidence intervals and point-level attributions to enable deeper understanding of trends and variances within subsets of global datasets via attribution clustering. With FIDL, users can easily identify the top 10, 20, or more attributes that contributed to a specific individual outcome or the outcomes of a specific category of users, thereby enabling more targeted measures to be taken to improve model performance and drive business KPIs.
