Latina Product Leader who is passionate about building experiences that fit within the lives of consumers.I lead a large, cross functional team of Product Managers and Process Managers that build and deliver inclusive consumer-facing experiences using human-centered design, Agile methodologies, and experimentation frameworks. Experience includes conversational AI product management, outbound messaging channel and delivery product management, messaging operations, social media strategy, digital content strategy, and digital product management.As a Latina in AI Product, I am passionate about increasing the number of women and BIPOC in Product through recruiting, mentorship, sponsorship, and speaking. I believe that in order to make true customer-centric products, your teams need to be as diverse as the customer population your build for.

Huma Abidi is a Senior Director of AI Software Products & Engineering at Intel, responsible for strategy, roadmaps, requirements, validation and Benchmarking of Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Analytics Software Products. She leads a globally diverse team of engineers and technologists responsible for delivering world class products that enable customers to create AI solutions.Huma joined Intel as Software Engineer and has since worked in a variety of Engineering, Validation, and Management roles in the area of Compilers, Binary translation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning.She led the Deep Learning Software team that helped bring intel Xeon Artificial Intelligence (AI) experiences to market, by improving SW performance by 2 orders of magnitude resulting in AI revenue over $1 billion in 2017 alone and continuing to grow significantly.Twice she has received the Intel Achievement Award - *Intel's highest honor* and thrice awarded with the Intel Software Quality award, for delivering quality SW.She is passionate about women’s education, supporting several organizations around the world for this cause, she was recently nominated for VentureBeat 2020 and 2019 (finalist) Women in AI award in Mentorship Category.Huma holds a BS in pre-med and chemistry and an MS in computer science from the University of Massachusetts.
