Growing a design organization can be challenging - especially for design teams inside of large, established companies. At some point, every design leader must "sell" the value of design to non-believers, sometimes to executives at the highest levels of the company. How can we communicate and advocate for design in a way that resonates with business leadership? Mike Lavigne, Head of Experience Strategy & Design at Nissan, will share lessons from building a digital design team inside one of the world's largest automotive companies.

I'm going to talk. About the business case for us with a specific angle around as working as a design leader inside of a company. How can you get support for ux from Business Leaders in your company? And there are many companies that are design, native. They were born from design. It's part of the DNA. And us is something that is understood and
valued at all levels of the company. Up to senior leadership and the c-suite. There other companies, on the other hand, that maybe are a bit older. Decades-old traditional industries that you ex is not part of the DNA and it becomes a bit more of a journey for those companies to build the u.s.
