Hello, my name is Jim,. Do it. Today? I'm going to be talking to you about what's new. And what's 15 + 9 server. Start with a quick introduction into non server, then we'll talk about what's new in nicer. This includes single sign-on using open eyes to be called a lot with exact news and workflow Penny and that includes where Porter update for business users. Support Executive Inn Enterprise and Cloud, 9 by Club Mix. I mean, what are some scenarios where I can intermittent not answer to large manufacturers

Distributing Executives in class on priem. What does that look like to the edge? Alright, two definitions that are at it in a previous release of nine server. So they're available now for you to use. What's 15? I mean teachers that are still being worked out there. Still in development and don't be available within the next 9 software release. They may be available for free for a limited preview before. If you're interested, please contact. Write a quick introduction into

non server. You already heard today about 9 minutes left for him, and that's how we can help you made just really amazing. Dinner sometime. Once you've done that. What's the next step? Well, you need to production ice it and I'm sure I can help you. Do you can upload work clothes tonight in server and they can be scheduled it for automation. They can also expose a rest API. You can pass to the workload have an excuse to get the results at passing back. This allows you to answer with basically any software within your company.

We also had what's called Nine web portal with the web for. Do you can go work clothes that interacts with a user, you can have some questions about me to the data that they want to analyze visitation that they can interact with and really help them learn a lot about their data. So you can see what was 9 software. We really do. Provide. It ends in from data Discovery. All the way to put in a bottle in production, a full day to Lifetime, but by sight, Alright, let's talk about what's new in 9 server. Single sign-on

server for quite a while. This is an integration with ldap and with a G. But now we've been aggravated with Ola, which is also called open. I do it supports using third-party identity providers. One server providers actually know all about your users, their usernames and passwords. And so when does teachers in my server when he tried to read directions, to one of those identity providers that you can agree? Once you've identified yourself username password, whatever that, maybe you're then, redirected back into non server.

This feature is currently in preview, which means it's out there. Now, you can use it, but it's still not fully finish. There are several new features that we want to add to make it easier to use and easier to configure are also writing more documentation. Right. Now, I'm going to show you a demo of log into the line server using single sign-on integrated with Euro, which is an identity provider. Emma browser, open to the Nikon website. And I'm going to demonstrate how to log into the server. One with us and they both it's going to actually redirect to the identity

provider provider. Once I log into that, it's going to redirect me to re login to the night's over. Nothing in my user ID and password. His login and it shouldn't have redirect me to the server and I'll have my full credentials. Do I have please a run real quick with a user? This one doesn't have a lot of inactivity is just showing us the Dana putting it into T-Mobile and a Sunburst chart that we can interact with me how to use Waze with server. There's a lot more information about web portal on the website and a

private browsing Windows. Just to show you that. Once you login, every time you go to Web server 7 x server. You don't have to going to be redirected to the all provider and reader your credentials. So they may be times where you do after you login, but not every time. Okay, that's it. I think that was a nice demonstration of how to integrate 9 server with a loss and how to use all provide. Before we get into destroyed it Executives. I wanted to talk a little bit about 9 server and what what's its

architecture look like and why do we split out the executor? Well, it wasn't Macy's is a tomcat webcare container that container that has all of the business logic of the nine server. So when you log in with the server, when you upload work clothes, when you browse work to the repository for assistance. And these that there is a piece that actually runs over clothes for you. So you when you go to serving you run that work love it gets loaded into the exact care and it's

extra runs it. All right, then. Why do I want to opt for the executor from the server? Well, it really helps to distribute the load of the server and the executor. If you run a really heavy duty work clothes. I just used the actual what direction is the server with other users to offloading? Those two makes it much more Interactive. You can also support different types of executor run times. So you might want different versions of ice on it. Are you might want to be able to have gpus on scrap machine? With the shootings actors, you can do

that. And offering it to you also makes it available for you to add more exact years. So you just have more computing power when you need it. That's called stealing it. This is what distributor Executives looks like. We take the sector part and completely removed it from the server. It's in a different DMR. Different machine all together and you have multiple your exemptions for but you can have as many as you can provide a amazing amount of deployment flexibility. All right, you may

wonder how is this licence? Well, it's license as normal. So within the nine server, you get a license that allows you have so many Coors wooden connector integrates with the name server starts up and want to talk to it. The service is how many quarts do you have? Exactly? Cuz they have a course in the circle women. Give it a license for a course and it occurs when they come in. So you can, you put your license on the server and Executives will register and get the the parts of the wife. A work was getting it is a is a new

feature that we added in the most recent release of nine server. So I didn't do that because we have people asking us. Why is it making some different writing to support different environment? Deployed workload to say here are the capabilities that I would like, for example, we have this workload tag for Chi chiyu and python. When you actually running on the server to server, will try to pick the best match that you can find for this capability. So in this example of which this workload to

the server, we deploy it we brought it and then the services are you looking for GP and pythons? I have an exact match for those capabilities and their runs the workflow on that Xavier. Mr. What's cooking in the nine server. Remember these are new features that were working on currently, and they'll be out hopefully in the next released at not released after. The new web portal of feedback about what portal that it seemed to be designed for developers and business users analyst, people who are not your software developers. They were confused by, it was

just hard to use. So, we totally redone, the ux design. Example, there's a landing page for a workflow. It's all about the workload tells you how to use it. All that documentation is written by the work clothes designer. There are also two very candy linked. One lane is allowed to set up bookmark for this page on Facebook. It was already running and ready to go. So it kind of helps you bypass the winning page and you can get it. Whatever Chloe is running. This page will

show that way. It shows you what's going on with the workload. Is it still working? How long has it been working? So give you a little bit more feedback about what's happening. And then, on the last page, you can see very idiot, interactive usage of of the graphics within this page and also has a black background. So those of you who like, with your windows, you can see. This is very expensive bullets be able to support. Exporting Executives in the Enterprise. What is that look like? So, what's the scenario,

segregate, execution Resources by Department? Why would I want to say? I have some exactly was that I'm using for the partment Department comes online using line server. How, how do you do that in 9? Super introduced? A new thing called with different groups? This is just a way of managing a logical group of executives. I need also managed to access to that exact recruit either by user or by user group and you can map it into their second group. Example, in the

scenario. We have two groups or a design one for me and one for engineering. So, if someone from binance runs of workload, they deploy to the server executed, it gets routed to the executive group. That's a sign to the finance group, take me to finance group. In the Marketing Group. We're having lunch together and the final group that you needed with use 9 serve. It's amazing. The admins in that adds a new group and it has a new executive group and massive to the Markham group work clothes and I'm server, they run it and it's running the threat detector

on the market. Strike 5 minutes, 30 new offerings that were pushing out to the AWS and Azure marketplaces suit. That includes nine server. Large byol, bring your own license. So you have to come to mine. Purchase a license and then you can just buy this on the phone. It supports several arch with the distributed exactly what we talked about this earlier and all the reasons why you might want to use. Is open as an embedded. Exactly are so that when you start it until you get distributed. The second offering

will be nine Executives. These will be distributed connectors that can be used by 9 for the large. Then when she starts over large in the cloud. You can also start a group of Executives and have the two work together. You can, you can you listen to different ways? One is through pay-as-you-go, which is elastic ceiling as you go. What we mean by that is, you paid hourly charge for instance, or worker that you have money. The second I just called byol or bring your own license. This offering you the scores from your server license, as we discussed. Okay, another way

to use distributive that goes in, the cloud is through what's called auto-scaling. Why do you need all those auto-scaling? What you may have work clothes? That's dirty and workload. Spikes are causing issues because of high lows to need to spell out. Is when you add an instance, for example, we have three sectors here in this example, non server is being overloaded with jobs. Over time the load may go down it. So that means we can actually get rid of that extra exist here and terminated why we want to do that. That's called

a scale in what we want without using that. We don't need any more. The load is going down. We can actually get back to you. Maybe a lower level. You can't with these Auto scaling, roofs maintain a Facebook password. So for example, number is always up. You need to man up music and then over time, you can grow that you don't love. Another common scenario is a hybrid scenario. This is where you have a mix of on-premise and Cloud. But why would you want to do that? But you may have dated that you were in town. It's only available. It's so much better that you don't want to move it to

your desk. So you want would be able to start accessories in the cloud and be able to use those exact years with your phone. Also, you may need to meet figure out a form and you have peace in the man that happened maybe seasonally. So there's a while you could bring up extra computer capacity so you can meet that demand and when it has it again. Are there any specialty Hardware like you to use for a specific project? Are you able to do testing? So that way you can bring that resources within the cloud, do your testing. And when you're done,

throwing those resources away? Another coming area. What is a mixed Cloud usage? And by that? I mean a mix of bring your own license and pay as you go. Okay. So, where would that be? If you have a set license? Like in this example, we have some people who are nicer but there are additional resources and that's it where we can use pee, as you go again with the state as you do exactly. As I, no longer need it. You can just terminate them and then you don't pay for them. Difference between different departments, or maybe do you do when having sex with us working different Cloud

accounts? You can see you can mix and match this as much as you like and we support. Okay. Last thing I want to talk about is bringing his actors on to the edge. So what do we mean by that? So he have a nice server and you want to be able to execute work clothes that take data. That do some sort of analysis are really more of a fly of an algorithm, a remodel and returning answer and you wanted to buy that. Two hundreds, maybe even thousands or maybe two more interviews years where there may be a spy. Also need an agency to be really low and to be a very

consistent from when you make a request, so we get it processed by the server. And then sent back to you as an answer trip. Time to call that lady. See, you're using a system and causing interactivity,. Not be afraid. Yes, I want to update my phone to work clothes periodically when they're built, they don't last forever. Overtime, day to change his behavior change and so you might have to be rebuilt and redeploy. You will have to be as automated. It was in Switzerland factory setting. You also may want to replicate

deployments to multiple remote site and have them interact with nine server in a way that you do. I'm not going to fly new were closed when I deploy to all of those aspects. Okay, so we talked about nine store, TBN by their mean is to be named. So we have feedback at 9 store is not a great night. Isn't really an internal name so that we know what we're talking about. What we talked about nine score. Do the two main components of the Deckers on the edge. It was a nice server. So the nice server is used for

management and monitoring that were closed. And so if you look at this scenario with the architecture with nine server, and we have four and two locations that were supported with that server, whenever I deploy a workflow to the server, deafen for one of the answers to all of the address that it needs to. What is the Ed score? Do the escort take that work flow in and wrapped it in a container? A doctor is it provides at 8:24 that work flow so you can invoke it. And also manages, scaling, it would say, I deploy a workload

and I told him that score, I want to have your innocence is running all the time, but you can scale up as many is 20. What is that is that means people start using that API to invoke that workload as a request increase in the loading. So that we can handle that. Okay, that's all I really want to talk about it today. First. I want to thank you for being here. This is new to us this virtual environment. But thank you for joining the virtual Sunday, and we really appreciate it. This is virtual meeting. I'm going to talk to you soon with questions and answers. Thanks a lot.
