About the talk
Independent brewers, over the last decade, have gone from an outlier, or a curio in the drinks market to a driving force in trends, flavour and discussion in the hospitality industry. It’s sitting beside wine and cocktails on high end restaurant lists, in bottle shops around the country, and small brewers are popping up in every town and suburb with their taprooms and brewpubs becoming destinations, and meeting points for the community.
Kylie Lethbridge, IBA Chief Executive Officer, will show you how and why it has become ingrained in daily lives, where the next trends are going, and how your business can capitalise on the amazing products being made by Australia’s outstanding independent brewers.
We will also give you an insight into how the Independent Brewers Association is continuing to support this growth, with sales and marketing support, advocacy, mental health resources, and how the last two years have changed how our members operate.

About speaker
With a successful career spanning more than 25 years, Kylie began her journey inspired by Ministerial support teams before progressing to a variety of communications and marketing, tourism, economic development and management roles within local and state government. Having owned her own small business, Kylie understands the complexities that can transpire, she is a leader and author of strategies and policies that support organisational outcomes and has delivered effective results from her work in the destination development and international trade and investment space. Kylie has held multiple Board directorships, is considered an excellent relationship and stakeholder manager as well as a nurturing leader and facilitator of change.
