About the talk
The challenge with building great AI assistants is that it’s impossible to anticipate all the things your users could say. But the opportunity is that in every conversation, users are telling you—in their own words—exactly what they want. Agile, DevOps, and user testing are established methods for building reliable applications and a better user experience, but conversational software presents unique opportunities and challenges. Conversation-driven development, or CDD, is a blueprint for applying these practices to building AI assistants. Alan Nichol, CTO and Co-founder of Rasa will discuss the 6 steps that make up conversation-driven development. Alan will discuss how product teams can use CDD to learn what users want and turn insights into meaningful improvements. CDD can be used by product managers, designers, and developers—anyone interested in building AI assistants with lower abandonment rates, higher resolution, and continuous improvement over time.
