About the talk
The Automotive industry is one of the most exciting fields for voice assistants. Having the eyes in the road and the hands in the wheel makes It a perfect context for a voice first interaction. In this talk we walk through the problems and situations customers want to get solved, along with the challenges that we face in this environment.

About speakers
I come from an Advertising and Public Relationships background, but long time ago, I changed buyers for users and insights for user needs. In 2015 I started messing around with chatbots and conversational interfaces like Alexa, Google Home and even our own devices, as a member of the R&D Department of BEEVA the consultancy company for the BBVA. As a product designer, I'm focused on understanding people problems so I can try to offer them a product that solves it. As a researcher, I've published some of the most read articles about the topic and talk in international conferences. In 2018 I started in Amazon where I work as a multimodal designer, covering VUI and GUI for Alexa.

My design and research work is presented nationally and internationally to general and field-specific audiences. I have 18 years of experience designing for mobile, web, desktop, and smart TV interfaces. In addition, I have more than six years of experience designing voice interfaces for Connected Home Experience, Automotive, and Wearables. Publications: My work on research into usability, accessibility, speech recognition, multimodal voice user interfaces, and user interfaces for research and educational use cases has been published internationally. My interviews have been published with several magazines and podcasts, including Forbes, the healthy code, Automotive, and TU-Auto magazines. Public Speaking: I am available for public (virtual) speaking on research findings, and the latest trends are as important as doing the work. I regularly speak and present workshops about voice and UX.
