About the talk
Crypto markets have been undergoing a period of rapid development and adoption worldwide, and regulators taken notice. This panel will explore the regulatory landscape for crypto markets, the benefits and risks of DeFi, and the rise of financial crime and abuse in both CeFI and DeFi ecosystems. We will explore how the KYC/AML compliance mindset has been evolving as well as issues relating to governance, security, market conduct, and investor protection.
About speakers
A New York-qualified attorney, Andy has spent over a decade in Asia, both as a litigator in private practice and as an in-house counsel and compliance officer for international financial institutions, most recently in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. Prior to launching his legal career, Andy was a Captain and Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
