About the talk
Increasingly, banks have been looking to enter the crypto space, driven by client demand and the desire to stay competitive. While some banks have started distributing crypto-related financial products or commenced dealing and advisory services, others have yet to engage in the sector due to risk or regulatory considerations. This panel will discuss the challenges and risks banks face when engaging with the crypto sector, including those related to AML/KYC, capital and liquidity, and investor protection. We will also explore the controls that should be in place to mitigate such risk and address regulatory requirements.
