As Co-Founder of XpertVR, I work to ensure the future of technology positively impacts education. I see a future where Web 3.0 will bring open-access education to everyone worldwide. Allowing anyone to find their passion, master the skills required to follow it, and verify those skills for anyone to see. Ultimately leading to lifelong learners, passionate about what they do. Outside of work, I am a huge nerd, always up-to-date on anything Marvel or Star Wars, plus am big into VR gaming and can't get enough of the NFT/Crypto community. If you resonated with any of the above, let's connect and change the world together! Plus if you have a VR headset DM me with your favourite game so we can have a friendly competition.View the profile
I draw on more than twenty years of unique experiences spanning scientific research, innovation & entrepreneurship, space science, teaching & education, grant writing, business investment, and strategy development & implementation. I live and breath research, innovation and entrepreneurship. I have helped design innovation clusters/centres across Ontario and have created some of the most successful business support programs for start-ups and medium-sized companies. Right now I am digging deep into how the Metaverse will impact science, innovation, business and society. I am particularly interested how AR/VR can be used to enhance education and training; and what post-secondary education will look like in the coming years.View the profile
