About the talk
Simon Thompson and Pablo Lamela demo the key features of Marlowe Run – the client application for running Marlowe contracts on Cardano. This version uses the PAB and a simulated node. Later versions will have the same UI/UX but will be connected to Cardano and wallets. Watch how a financial smart contract is set up, and how it connects multiple participants to enact a loan on the blockchain.
About speakers
Researcher, author and teacher, based at the University of Kent. My research has covered many aspects of functional programming, including verification, tool building and testing for Erlang, Haskell and OCaml. I'm author of books on type theory, Haskell and Erlang, and run a MOOC on Erlang for FutureLearn.
