About the talk
We hypothesised that microlending and DeFi DApps targeted specifically to the African context – and based on historical cultural norms – will accelerate user adoption. In this challenge, we invited our community to find a way to increase proposals from businesses to address this hypothesis and result in micro-lending and DeFi DApps made for the African context.
I'm currently studying the MPhil in Economics at Oxford University. I am a former research assistant working with the Sustainable Shared-Prosperity Policy Index at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment at UC Berkeley, research assistant to Dr. Therese Nilsson and summer research assistant at Ratio institute.
