00:05 Hello everyone, fantastic to see a room with.

00:09 Standing room only, so many people here are so excited about this technology and I'm gonna cover why we should be so excited about this technology.

00:22 And so we're going to cover.

00:24 What it is the history the economics behind it?

00:27 The present the future, and if there's time,

00:30 some final thoughts and questions there.

00:32 And so for anybody that doesn't know I've been involved in this ecosystem for over 8 years now full time every single day.

00:39 I was the first person in the entire world and start investing in this ecosystem so.

00:44 But we should talk about What is this?

00:46 What is Bitcoin? What is all this stuff that's going on here well?

00:51 It's right there in the very title of the original Bitcoin White Paper.

00:55 And it's that big coin is a peer to peer electronic cash system.

00:59 That means it's used for payments for people to pay money with anyone anywhere in the world instantly basically for free.

01:06 And that there's nothing that anyone can do to stop them from making those payments.

01:13 Bitcoin is not a company.

01:15 It's not centrally controlled. I'm not the CEO of Bitcoin.

01:19 I'm not the CEO of Bitcoin cash.

01:21 I'm not the CEO of anything.

01:22 These are all just protocols so they're not proprietary systems.

01:26 That means that they're not systems for one specific use application.

01:30 It can be for all sorts of things and it's not tide to any particular jurisdiction or location.

01:35 It's not just for Singapore.

01:37 It's not just for Moscow is for everyone all over the planet regardless of where they were born or where they're living today.

01:44 And Bitcoin is not still the only cryptocurrency.

01:47 There's thousands of them at this point and it's really exciting to see the ecosystem developing.

01:53 And so Bitcoin is a technology.

01:55 To protocol in a network and a system that enables much,

01:59 much, much, much more.
